Last Saturday on 5th September 2026, our children had a special and inspiring session focused on faith, leadership, and the importance of putting Jesus Christ at the centre of their lives.
We were blessed to welcome our dear friend Peter James Mmbago from the Philippines, who shared a powerful sermon with the children based on Matthew 28:16 and the surrounding passage commonly known as the Great Commission.
Peter encouraged the children to recognise Jesus Christ as the highest authority in their lives. He reminded them that Jesus should come first in everything they do—not only at church, but also at home, at school, among their friends, and in the decisions they make every day.
The message challenged the children to grow in their relationship with Christ and to understand that following Jesus is more than simply knowing about Him. It means trusting Him, obeying His teachings, showing love to others, and allowing Him to guide their lives.
The children were encouraged to build their lives on Christ from an early age and to remember that their identity, purpose, and future can be found in Him. Through prayer, reading the Bible, fellowship, and living out their faith, they can become young people who positively influence their families and communities.
We are grateful to Peter James Mmbago for taking the time to share this meaningful message with our children. His words reminded us that investing in children is not only about their education and physical well-being, but also about nurturing their spiritual growth.
